Workshop description: Using the same flexible pointed pen for copperplate create a gorgeous "UNCIALIZED" script. If you are looking for new ideas and techniques, or just need to get started, then this is the workshop for you. You will learn about tools, inks and papers as well as complete an inspiring small project! Explore the potential for creating new and exciting letterforms in a fun atmosphere.
Brigitte Hefferan Bio: Brigitte teaches calligraphy at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds, Wa., at Letters of Joy, for various Calligraphy Guilds and at her studio. As a free-lance artist she explores ways to combine her passion for lettering with watercolors, oils and other mediums. She has exhibited her work locally at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, the Mountlake Terrace's "Arts of the Terrace," Edmonds Conference Center and the Two Vaults Gallery in Tacoma. She is an excellent teacher and has great lettering skills.
Directions and supply list will be sent to all students signed up for this workshop at a later date.
